You begin with The ISO 22000 Standard, the food safety management system itself: hazard analysis, the plan-do-check-act structure and what an auditor looks for. You then take ISO22002-100:2025 The PRP Standard Requirements, the prerequisite programmes every food chain category shares. With that groundwork in place, FSSC 22000 Version 7 for Feed and Animal Food Production teaches the sector layer, what ISO 22002-6:2025 adds and which of the eighteen FSSC additional requirements reach your operation. ISO 22002-6 adds only four requirements of its own and every one of them concerns medication, which tells you exactly where a feed audit will spend its time.
