It comes loaded with 12 months of case data from Isipho Beverages & Snacks, a fictional snack and beverage plant in Hammarsdale, KwaZulu-Natal, and from Khanya’s Midrand distribution centre, a fictional retailer DC. How to use this dashboard
- Data. Choose a dataset: Isipho (factory case), Khanya Midrand (distribution centre case) or your own site. Check or type the 12 monthly figures and the latest-month snapshot. Allocate complaints to the month the product was made (from the batch code), not the month the complaint arrived. Set your targets from your own baseline.
- KPIs and RAG. Pick the report month. Each tile shows the value, the calculation, the target, the status in words and colour, and whether the KPI leads or lags.
- Complaint u-charts. Complaints per million units with limits for each month. The dashboard applies three run rules and warns you about small numbers. Make your own call (act now, watch or ignore) before you check it.
- Pareto. Sort complaint or defect categories by count and by severity or cost.
- Label p-chart and trends. Label and code errors per 10,000 packs checked, and run charts for the other KPIs.
- Capability by head. Cp, Cpk and give-away in rand for each filler head, and the options for the worst one.
- Report and export. Build the one-page monthly QA report, edit the auto-drafted management review paragraph, check your report, then print it or download the whole dashboard as a spreadsheet.
