IFS Broker Version 3.2 for Management Course
About Course
Your IFS Broker certificate rests on decisions only management can make. This course shows you which ones, and what to ask your quality team about each.
IFS Broker Version 3.2 for Management is written for directors, owners, partners and senior managers of trading, import, export, agency and brokerage businesses. It explains what the Standard expects of you personally: the corporate policy, product safety culture, measurable objectives, the resources and investment behind KO n° 1, telling customers and the certification body in time, and a management review that decides things.
It also shows you how the systems you pay for actually work. You will see where the eight KO requirements and the usual Major findings sit in a trading business, how supplier approval and customer acceptance protect you, how traceability and recall are proved, how an audit is scored from A to D and how the certificate is won, renewed and kept. Every lesson ends with decisions for you to make and questions to put to your quality team on Monday.
Five case files follow fictional South African traders, led by Kalahari Crest Trading (fictional), a Cape Town exporter of citrus and pome fruit that also sells customer branded dried fruit and nut mixes. The cases are training scenarios built from real audit patterns.
This is an independent ASC Food Safety Consultants course. It explains IFS Broker Version 3.2 in ASC’s own words. It is not an IFS course and is not endorsed by IFS Management GmbH. Read the exact wording of every requirement in your own copy of the Standard, which is free to download from the IFS website.
