About Course

About this course

The BRCGS Global Standard for Agents and Brokers gives a framework for managing product safety, authenticity, quality and legality in businesses that buy, sell or facilitate the trade of products but do not manufacture, process or store them in their own facilities. Issue 3 has been the certification issue since 1 April 2022.

This six-hour course provides an overview of all of the Issue 3 requirements. Each section of the Standard is discussed, the clauses are explained in plain language, and examples are provided throughout. You will also work through the full audit protocol, from choosing an audit option to receiving your certificate and appearing in the BRCGS Directory.

It is an awareness-level course. It builds understanding of what the Standard asks for and how an audit works, so that your team can take part confidently in preparing for and hosting a certification audit.
